Amazing cruise insurance!

I got cruise travel insurance here and it was so simple! I was worried about finding cover for our trip, but Insure and Escape made it incredibly easy. The policy had everything we needed. I will definitely come back for future trips and tell all my family about it!

Consistent service for years

I've been using Insure and Escape for my annual multi-trip insurance for about three years now. This time around, I added pre-existing medical condition cover, and the process was as smooth as previous years. Their online system is reliable, and I always get my documents quickly. It's why I keep coming back; no surprises, just good, consistent service.

Easy to get cover

I was looking for some single trip travel insurance for my holiday and found Insure and Escape. It was pretty easy to get a quote and buy it online, which I liked. The price was good too. Overall, felt pretty straightforward, which is what you want when sorting out insurance.

Comprehensive winter sports cover

I bought winter sports insurance for my ski trip to France. The website was clear, and it was easy to compare the Lite and Extra cover options. I opted for Extra because it included higher limits for personal baggage and equipment, which gave me peace of mind. The quote process was fast, and the policy documents were emailed within minutes. I also appreciated that they highlighted the Doctor Please! app access, though I didn't need to use it. The price was competitive compared to other providers I checked. I felt well-covered for my trip.

Decent cover, small delay

I purchased backpacker insurance for a long trip. The coverage details seemed comprehensive for the price, which was a plus. It took a little longer than I expected for the policy documents to arrive in my inbox, maybe about an hour. Not a huge deal, but something to note if you're in a hurry. Customer service was helpful when I called to check on it, though.

found a 10% off promo code, where do you even put that in? I can't find a spot on the first page.

N Neil 2 months ago
It's usually on the quote results page after you get your price, or right before you pay. Keep an eye out for a box labeled 'promo code' or 'voucher code'.

Yeah, don't worry, it pops up later. Either when you see the different policy options or on the final summary page before payment. You won't miss it.

Hey guys, thinking of getting annual multi-trip insurance for my family. Are the rates really better than just buying single trips every time?

M Marcus W. 2 months ago
Yeah, totally. I got an annual policy last year and it saved me a bunch compared to buying separate ones for my two holidays.

It usually works out cheaper if you travel more than once a year. Plus, you don't have to think about it every time you book a trip, which is nice.

Thinking of taking a ski trip this winter. Is winter sports cover usually an add-on or is it sometimes included?

C Cody 1 month ago
It's usually an add-on. Most standard policies don't include it because of the extra risk. You'll probably have to select it during the quote process.

Definitely an add-on. Make sure you tick that box or you won't be covered if anything happens on the slopes. Learned that the hard way once!

Does anyone know if they actually cover pre-existing medical conditions? I have a minor heart thing and some places are super strict.

E Elena 2 months ago
They do, but you have to declare everything when you get the quote. They'll ask you a bunch of questions about it. My mum has diabetes and got cover with them.

B Ben Brooks 2 months ago
Yes, they cover them, but the premium might be higher depending on what it is. Just make sure you're honest about it so your claim doesn't get rejected later.

What's their cancellation policy like? If I buy a policy and then my trip gets cancelled, can I get my money back?

S Sarah K. 2 months ago
You usually have a 14-day cooling-off period where you can cancel and get a full refund, as long as you haven't started your trip or made a claim.
1
J Julia R. 2 months ago
Yep, 14 days is standard. If it's after that, it probably depends on why you're cancelling and what's in your policy documents. Always good to read the fine print there.
